Biography

Lucinda is an Underwriter in the Contingent Legal Risk Insurance team at Liberty GTS. Before joining Liberty GTS, Lucinda was a Special Counsel at Clyde & Co in Sydney, specialising in insurance and complex disputes which were typically high-value and multijurisdictional in nature. She has broad experience in formal (litigation, arbitration and mediation) and informal dispute resolution across a range of jurisdictions and sectors including construction, energy, telecommunications, financial services, agriculture, food and professional sports. 

Lucinda spent 2 years on secondment at HDI Global SE and handled claims across the property, liability, construction & engineering and financial lines business lines. 

Prior to relocating to Australia, Lucinda spent 8 years working for the London market at Clyde & Co in London, during which time she was seconded to the firm’s Dubai and Miami offices. She has been on the committees of the Australian Insurance Law Association (NSW) and British Insurance Law Association. 

Lucinda graduated from the University of Durham (BA (Hons)), the University of Law (LLB (Hons)) and the University of London (MA). She is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Sydney.

Lucinda is dual qualified and is admitted to practice law in Australia and England & Wales.
