Biography
Barbara leads the Liberty GTS Mergers and Acquisitions team for Southern Europe. Barbara joined Liberty GTS in 2016, having previously worked for Liberty’s subsidiary Ironshore, as an underwriter in London, underwriting warranty and indemnity insurance with a focus on Southern European M&A transactions. Barbara was promoted to Senior Underwriter, before relocating to our Milan office, and leading the Southern European team as Underwriting Manager, and presently, as Head of Southern Europe.
Prior to joining Liberty, Barbara joined the Corporate Department of an Italian independent leading law firm in Milan, where she focused on Private M&A. While working in the London office, Barbara completed a Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at The University of Law in London. Barbara joined Clyde & Co LLP (London) in 2014, qualifying as a solicitor in 2016.
Barbara graduated from Universita’ Cattolica of Milan with a Master Degree in Business Law and was admitted to the Milan Bar in 2010.
