Biography
Mr. Lavinthal is Head of Tax, Americas, based in our New York Office. Prior to being appointed for this role, he was a Senior Underwriter with AIG specializing in underwriting and negotiating tax insurance policy solutions across various areas of tax law and industries. Mr. Lavinthal was also a mergers & acquisitions tax consultant with KPMG and has extensive experience advising clients with respect to a wide range of transactional tax issues. Jared earned his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the Villanova University School of Law, and his B.A. in Political Science and B.A. in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University. Jared is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
