Since joining the M&A insurance market in February 2021, Tom has underwritten a range of high-profile and complex UK, EMEA and international transactions involving targets engaged across a variety of sectors.
Prior to joining the Liberty GTS team, Tom worked as a Senior Associate for Philadelphia-based law firm Duane Morris LLP, specialising in cross-border M&A transactions advising institutional investors, corporates and management teams.
Tom graduated from Newcastle University in 2010 with a bachelor of laws degree (LL.B) and Edinburgh University in 2011 with a master of laws degree (LL.M), then took his LPC at London College of Law. Tom was admitted to the roll of solicitors in England and Wales in 2014 before working as an associate in the corporate finance team of UK-based law firm Freeths LLP.
